Bengala won a maiden on her first start for John Oxx at Leopardstown, winning by a short head. The filly should be open to more improvement in this listed race with the danger coming from Dermot Weld’s Queen Anne’s Lace, who steps up in trip form her last outing when finishing fourth after a break.
